How long does a replacement zip card take?
We’ll post your 11-15 Zip Oyster photocard to you within one week of applying. You apply online and need to provide: Active email address.
How much is it to get a new zip card?
There is a $20.00 cost for a replacement or lost card. If your temporary card is lost or stolen, the same lost card cost applies. There are no refunds of a lost card fee. The replaced Zip Card becomes your current Zip Card and the old card is permanently deactivated.
How do I replace my broken Oyster card?
Get a new Oyster card and make at least one journey with it, then call 0343 222 1234 (Charges may apply). We’ll arrange to transfer your credit or ticket to your new card.
Can you top up zip card online?
Online at the Oyster website. Follow the same steps 1-8 above, but choose “Pay as you go” and select an amount to top-up (you can also add £5/£10/£15 if not adding auto top-up). Online using the TfL Oyster app. Select Top up, choose an amount to add (£10 – £50 in £5 multiples) and press Pay now.
Where can I find my Oyster card number?
The card number is the 12 digits in the upper right corner on the reverse of the card.
How long does a replacement Oyster card take?

Can I use Zipcar without my card?

Can I use Oyster app instead of card?
Now, free app TfL Oyster (available on Apple and Android) allows you top up your Oyster card on your phone, and collect the top-up from any tube or rail station, tram stop or river bus pier as little as 30 minutes later. It also only works with Oyster cards, rather than contactless cards.

Children aged 16-17 can get free and discounted travel on all our transport services with a Zip Oyster photocard.
Can you put money on a Zip card?
The easiest way to make sure that the card always has money on it is to set up Auto Top-Up, where your bank debit or credit card is charged when the card is nearly empty of cash. Many adults set this up on their Oyster Card. It’s not as easy to add Auto Top Up to a Zip Card. But it is possible!
How do I get my Oyster card back online?
Online. Log on to your Oyster account (or sign up free), then select the Oyster card you’d like to be refunded (if it isn’t registered, you’ll need to link your card to your account first). Then, click on ‘Apply for a product refund’. Follow the instructions to get a refund to your bank account.
How do I know if my Oyster card still works?
You can call TfL customer services on 0343 222 1234 (check call charges on its site); you’ll need to confirm you’re the registered owner of the Oyster card and provide the following details: Your Oyster card number. The answer to the security question you’d selected.
