If the fuel card is missing, let us know. From the Zipcar iPhone® or Android™ app, open the Drive screen and select Report to notify us of vehicle issues. If you can, please pay for fuel on your own and submit your receipts to be reimbursed.
How much fuel does Zipcar use?
Just leave it at its home location, clean and with at least 1/4 tank of gas, and ready for the next member. You can use either your Zipcard or mobile app to lock the doors.
How do you unlock Zipcar?
You can lock & unlock your Zipcar using the Zipcar iPhone® or Android™ mobile app or using your physical Zipcard. To lock & unlock with the Zipcar app: Open your Zipcar mobile app. From the Drive screen, tap the Unlock or Lock icon.
Are there cameras in zipcars?
There are no cameras in Zipcars, no. Zipcar does have the capacity to track the location of the car (similar to a LoJack system), but assures drivers that that data is only used in the event the car isn’t returned to its assigned parking spot in a reasonable amount of time.
Can I pick up a Zipcar in one city and leave it in another?
Pick up and return these cars and vans to their same dedicated bay. During your reservation you are able to park in other areas, but if you’re stopping over in a space that requires a fee, you’re responsible for paying it.
Can I use Zipcar gas card for another car?
Zipcar fuel cards may only be used to fuel Zipcar vehicles and may not be used for any other purpose. Members must ensure that they use the correct fuel when refueling the vehicle (gasoline or diesel).
What is 5/8 of a tank of gas?
The lines on the gas gauge are increments of 1/4 representing your gas tanks fuel level. Anything between 2 lines would be an eight. If the needle were between 1/2 and 3/4, this would mean you have 5/8 of gasoline in your tank.
